Automatic Payment
Complete an ACH form provided by MLS to have your payments automatically withdrawn or you may call Midwest Loan Servicing at 888-426-5081 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (EDT), Monday-Friday and they can set up your automatic payment deduction over the phone.

You can make your mortgage payments using a Bill Pay Service, just make sure you include your new loan number and use the payment address P.O. Box 188 Houghton, MI 49931. The Payee should be Midwest Loan Services.

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Midwest Loan Services (MLS) to perform the servicing of our mortgage loans to provide you an even better mortgage banking experience. On August 12, 2019 we will transition the servicing of our mortgage loans to Midwest Loan Services, who will provide support for posting payments, sending statements, and obtaining escrow information for your mortgage loan. By partnering with MLS we will be able to offer you extended service hours for your loan and a much larger, dedicated customer service team. Please be assured that this transfer of servicing will not affect any business needs you may have, and the ownership of your loan still remains with mBank.
General Questions
On August 12, 2019, we will transition the servicing of our mortgage loans to Midwest Loan Services (MLS), our Michigan-based partner headquartered in Houghton, who will provide support for posting payments, sending statements, and obtaining escrow information for your mortgage loan.
MLS has specific expertise in the area of mortgage loan servicing and compliance which allows us to offer our customers additional benefits and services. By partnering with MLS we will be able to offer you extended service hours for your loan and a dedicated customer service team. Once the transition occurs, you will have additional options for making payments and accessing information about your mortgage account.
Midwest Loan Servicing (MLS) is projected to begin accepting payments from you beginning August 13, 2019. mBank will still be able to accept payments on your loan as well. MLS will be contacting you directly with specific details after the transfer.
No, your mortgage has not been sold. MLS will simply be performing the servicing functions on your loan, which means they’ll take your payments, process your tax and insurance payments, handle any questions you may have about your loan, as well as perform year-end financial reporting.
If you have your mortgage payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account, you will need to complete a new authorization form, which will be provided by MLS. You may also contact Midwest Loan Services (MLS) by phone (888-426-5081) – see Q12 for more information. If you mail your monthly mortgage payment, simply mail it to the new address shown in Q13.
Yes, MLS will be assigning you a new loan number. You will use this number to register for access to your account online after your loan has been transferred. You should always refer to this new loan number when contacting MLS about your loan.
Once your loan has been transferred to MLS, you will also be able to access your account directly at www.midwestloanservices.com. To register, click “Borrower Registration” at the top of the page. You will be asked to input your new loan number, last four digits of your Social Security number, the five digit zip code of your property address, your email address and your phone number. You will also be required to create a password. Once registered, you may review your transaction history, make online payments, retrieve monthly and year end statements, review escrow information, and utilize the amortization schedule.
No, your mortgage will continue to be serviced under the original terms.
You may contact the MLS Customer Service Center at 888-426-5081 from 8 AM to 8 PM (EDT). You may also view your current mortgage information online 24/7 at https://midwestloanservices.com.
You will receive two mortgage tax and interest statements (Form 1098) in January 2020; one from mBank for the time they serviced your loan and one from MLS for the time they serviced your loan.
You may need to update your insurance policy on file with MLS. If requested to do so, please forward a copy of your current policy with the following mortgagee clause as first lienholder:

You may need to contact your insurance agent to update the mortgagee clause. You may mail a copy of your current policy to the address listed above, email it to midwest@insurance-tracking.com or fax it to 440-565-4406. Yes, simply go to https://midwestloanservices.com and register. From there, click the Payments link and fill in the required information to submit your payment.
Yes, just make sure you change the payee to MLS, update your loan number and update the payment mailing address so that your payment is properly credited.
Yes, you can make payments at a branch or by any of the many other convenient options that MLS provides, including monthly automatic debit (any day from the 1st to the 15th of the month), mailing in your payment, online payment, payment by phone, bi- weekly or semi-monthly automatic debit (there is an additional charge for this service).
Escrow Questions
Yes, after the transfer, MLS will process your tax and insurance payments just as mBank did. They will analyze your escrow account annually and mail you the results.
Yes, if you are interested in establishing an escrow account please send your request in writing along with the most recent paid copies of your real estate tax bills and homeowners insurance declaration pages to the following address:

Upon completion of your request, MLS will notify you in writing of the required escrow deposit and pending monthly payment due.
