MANISTIQUE, MI; May 17, 2013 – mBank today announced the hire of Joan Pitera as Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. Pitera is an experienced banking executive with over 20 years experience at JP Morgan.
In her role at mBank, Pitera will be responsible for developing new business and personal banking relationships and help manage the commercial lending portfolio for the Southeast Michigan region.

Pitera held key positions at JP Morgan Chase in Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor, most recently as a Capital Advisor in their Private Banking business. She also participated in the commercial banking development program and spent three years as a middle market analyst.
Pitera is a Certified Financial Planner™ and holds a MBA and BA from Eastern Michigan University. She is a supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Huron Valley and Wild Swan Theatre, serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committees for both organizations.
